City manager Marjan Junčaj, with the representatives of the agency “Tesla Club MNE”, presented the characteristics of electric cars, numerous advantages, way of charging, and their importance for preserving the environment, to the students of the Public Institution Secondary Vocational School “Ivan Uskoković”.

On that occasion, Manager Juncaj pointed out that he was happy that the students were interested in new technologies and that the Capital City Podgorica would continue to be part of such initiatives in the future.

“I am glad that our fellow citizens of all generations are interested in new technologies. On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that we are available to all educational institutions, ie all our fellow citizens, and that we plan similar presentations to get acquainted with activities and innovations in the Capital City Podgorica to organize in the following period as well. “, concluded Junčaj.

Students in the field had the opportunity to see the advantages of these cars over conventional engines and vehicles. The electric car uses alternative fuels and thus makes a significant contribution to preserving the environment. In this way, we once again pointed out the importance of raising awareness among young people when it comes to this topic.

Also, the students were introduced to the characteristics of the electric vehicle “Komšo”, which is used for free transportation of elderly fellow citizens and people with disabilities.

The Capital City Podgorica Podgorica follows modern trends and digital technologies in all areas, and the concept of the Smart City, which Capital City Podgorica adopted in 2019, has already given concrete results.
