The Deputy Mayor, Časlav Vešović, presented to the international audience the investment potentials of Podgorica at the event organized within the Montenegrin Pavilion at the prestigious global event Expo 2020 Dubai.

Emphasizing that  Podgorica is a city of modern architecture, sports, culture, universities, clean water and healthy food, but also a city of great hosts and good business opportunities, Vešović informed the audience about the dynamic business environment that offers plenty of opportunities.

Recognizing the importance and role of Expo 2020 Dubai, as one of the most prestigious events for the promotion of countries, cities and their potentials, Podgorica took the opportunity to present itself to the global audience as an economically stable and attractive investment destination, but also as a reliable partner recognized by prestigious international financial institutions.

“In order to properly valorize the investment potential of Podgorica and contribute to the overall socio-economic development, investors have an open opportunity to invest through public-private partnerships”, said Vešović highlighting projects such as factory for bottling drinking water of the highest quality, construction of underground garages, production of electricity from landfill biogas, etc.

The director of the Tourist Organization, Irena Rogošić, answering numerous questions from the visitors of the Pavilion about our city, introduced the attendees to the natural beauties and rich cultural and historical heritage as significant tourist potentials of Podgorica.

Since the attendees expressed great interest, we believe that this promotion will have a significant impact on the further development of the Capital city Podgorica through the realization of numerous investments and tourist valorization.
