The Capital City Podgorica has announced a Public call for the selection of users of business zones and the allocation of plots for the construction of facilities in business zones. Future investors have at their disposal ten business zones, land owned by the Capital City, which cover an area of ​​3,328,000 m2, from Tuški put to the turnoff to Golubovci Airport.

In this way, ten business zones will be put into operation, which will further contribute to the financial development, not only of Podgorica but also of Montenegro. We believe that the new numerous investments will provide higher revenues for the city and state coffers and better jobs. For the users of business zones, facilities are provided, such as: leasing land for up to thirty years, with the payment of an annual rent of 0.01 EUR / m2, the possibility of buying land at an estimated value with the possibility of repayment in 60 monthly installments, also reduced utility fee equipping, as well as exemption from paying the fee for the use of municipal roads for a period of 10 years.

Business zones are planned for the following activities: agricultural and agro-industry, processing and wood industry, professional and technical activities, showrooms and warehouses, parking lots and garages, as well as catering and accommodation.

All economic entities that apply for the facilitation of land lease for up to thirty years will be scored on the basis of the prescribed criteria, which include: the planned number of new employees, the value of the investment, the deadline for investment, as well as environmental protection. The Capital City Podgorica, primarily guided by the protection of public interests, will choose credible partners based on these criteria, and that companies that are not financially stable will not be able to participate in the public call, as well as those who do not regularly pay their debts to the state or have final criminal convictions in business.

The deadline for submitting applications is 60 days from the date of Publication of this call on the website of the Capital City Podgorica. Submission of the application implies the physical receipt of the application by the archives of the Capital City. Upon receipt of the application, a certificate is issued indicating the date and time of receipt of the application. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

The public opening of bids under this call will be held on July 7, 2021, at 10 am, in the premises of the Capital, and the decision on this call will be made within 15 days from the day of determining the final ranking list.
