The capital Podgorica is realizing numerous competitions this year, which are intended to support economic activities in Podgorica, and thanks to that support during development, many of our fellow citizens have started a new business or improved existing ones.

The Deputy Mayor of Podgorica, Časlav Vešović pointed out that the Capital continuously provides support to businessmen through several programs.

“The most important of them is certainly the business zone program, where we enable businessmen to realize their ideas within the industrial zone, service-storage, and agro-industrial zones. Other programs in terms of financial support are not so large and special, but their attractiveness and importance have attracted the attention of the public. Some of these programs support women’s entrepreneurship, beginners in business, and entrepreneurs who work in authentic parts of Podgorica.” said Vešović and added that the Capital will continue to provide support to quality business ideas.

Despite significant support for the development and improvement of entrepreneurship, the Capital also listens to the needs of agricultural producers, and important funds have been provided for this purpose as well.

Vešović said that in order to intensify cooperation with farmers and improve their status, a special service was formed that will be the address for their needs and initiatives.

The lease of agricultural land is another program of the city, which will enable those interested to participate in the public call, and due to noticeable interest, the deadline has been extended and they can apply until December 30.” Vešović pointed out and called on agricultural producers to take advantage of these benefits, intending to more easily overcome the challenges they face, and at the same time contribute to the production of more quality and healthy food in Podgorica.
