The Manager of the Capital City Podgorica and the International Cooperation Office, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Italy and the Association of Italian Businessmen in Montenegro “Confindustria Montenegro”, organized a zoom meeting where the investment potentials of Podgorica were presented to the Italian business community and those developing their business in our country.
On that occasion, the Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vukovic, PhD expressed satisfaction that the potentials of the Capital City Podgorica are increasingly recognized and reminded that Podgorica, despite numerous challenges, especially during the previous year, had positive results. He thanked for the cooperation so far and pointed out that he believes that by the end of the year there will be more interested investors who will contribute to the overall socio-economic development of our environment.
Vukovic emphasized that this is another way to improve the economic picture, which is of great importance especially in these times, but also for Podgorica to get new contents. He emphasized that Podgorica wants the traditionally good relations between Italy and Montenegro to be the foundation for building even better economic relations.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Montenegro, Luka Zelioli, praised the engagement of the Capital City Podgorica when it comes to encouraging the development of the business community in Podgorica. He pointed out the advantages of the fact that the euro is used as a currency in Montenegro, emphasizing that this is the country that has gone the furthest in the process of joining the EU.
Director of “Confindustria Montenegro” Marko Djindjinovic also assessed that the opportunities for investment and cooperation are important, especially emphasizing the importance of the Association of which he is a representative. He praised the promptness and proactive action of the services of the Capital City Podgorica, which contributes to greater openness of the administration to the needs of the economy and supports the efficient implementation of joint projects.
The manager of the Capital City Podgorica, Marjan Junčaj, presented numerous benefits and details regarding the Public Invitation for the selection of users of business zones in Podgorica through a presentation on business zones, and pointed out the benefits and facilitations that are important for potential investors.
